1. Thermal sensitivity index (TSI) of chickpea genotypes at Faizabad indicated K-850, Radhey, Awarodhi, Uday & Pusa 362 as moderately sensitive to temperature, while PG-186 was found moderately insensitive to temperature.
2. Yield of Chickpea decreased by 1 q ha-1 with increase of 2°C of maximum temperature during reproductive stage within the temperature range 27.2 to 33.8 °C at Faizabad.
3. At Faizabad, highest cumulative APAR at all the stages was recorded in rice transplanted on July 5th, followed by July 20th. It ranged from 407 MJ m-2 to 463 MJ m-2 from transplanting to maturity in varying transplanting treatments. Among the varieties, Swarna recorded highest cumulative APAR and radiation use efficiency (2.7 g MJ-1) over rest of the varieties.
